Comment: We bought it brand new for running and everyday use. If we had only needed it for running, we would have gone for the standard Glide 2, but since we needed it for more, we chose the Urban Glide 2. It’s a very lovable stroller with numerous advantages and a few drawbacks. The handlebar is easy to adjust, folding it up is super simple, and cleaning it is a breeze. I especially loved the magnetic peek-a-boo window, as it didn’t wake up my child like the sound of Velcro would. Attaching and detaching the infant car seat was very easy, but once it was on, the center of gravity changed significantly, and it took quite a bit of time to get used to that. The stroller is wide, which just barely fit into the elevator where we live. It’s definitely worth measuring your doors or elevator beforehand. It’s not a small stroller, even when folded. It takes up quite a lot of space in a 580-liter trunk of a RAV4. We never got a flat tire, but I’ve seen in various Thule Facebook groups that this is a common issue for some users. When we bought it, there was an issue with the bearing above the front wheel, causing the stroller to shake during runs. From other Thule Urban Glide 2 users, I learned that this might have been a series issue, as it didn’t occur with the Urban Glide 1. We tried to get it replaced under warranty at the store, where we encountered an interesting problem. The salesperson claimed that this wasn’t a running stroller and told us to check the manual. We looked, and indeed, the instructions stated that “This product is not suitable for jogging...”. This was quite surprising since every website advertised it as a running stroller. In the end, the situation worked out in our favor, and they replaced it, and it’s been fine since. Another downside is that the seat cannot be adjusted to a fully upright position, which can be annoying for older kids. Also, nothing is included with the stroller by default; you have to buy everything separately. No bumper bar, rain cover, cup holder—nothing. Speaking of footrests, the footrest on this model isn’t adjustable at all. You can buy an extender on Amazon, which can be very helpful for a sleeping child.

Comment: It’s a safe but quite heavy seat that cannot be rotated or reclined. Its breathability is very poor, and as far as I know, this model is no longer available. The sunshade tends to tear easily over time, and the stitching frays. On the plus side, since it’s a MAXI-COSI, it’s compatible with almost everything.
